The White Fawn is startling to see - you almost can't believe your eyes! It has a normal-colored sibling. Allen Vinson recently photographed this special fawn, which can be seen grazing at The Sea Ranch.

You can see that it is not an albino and it is beginning to color up a bit. To see a photo of this fawn with its twin posted on May 28th, here is the link:  http://www.mendonomasightings.com/2014/05/28/a-white-fawn-was-born-on-the-sea-ranch/

Thanks to Allen for allowing me to share his photo with you here.

The White Fawn was recently spotted by Gerda and Will Randolph. Gerda got this photo of this special fawn with its normal-colored sibling and mom.

This fawn is considered a tow-head and will eventually gain some color. In fact, a little color can already be seen. Seeing this fawn can cause you to doubt your eyes but it is real. If you are fortunate to see it, you might think you are seeing a magical being.

Two years in a row now! A white Fawn is born on The Sea Ranch and Gerda Randolph photographed the special fawn.

You can see that its sibling is normal-colored. This fawn isn't an albino. It is considered a tow-head and will eventually color up. This white fawn is at risk because it lacks the normal camouflage of a fawn. Hopefully it will thrive, as did last year's white fawn.

To see the white fawn on The Sea Ranch is like seeing something you can't quite believe. Several residents snapped photos recently. Darla Buechner got a nice close-up of this special fawn.

And below Rosey Beall got a cute photo of the fawn jumping.

It is usually found near the 8th or 9th hole of The Sea Ranch golf links. We're not sure if this fawn is partially leucistic or if its a towhead, which means it would eventually color up. Time will tell!

Richard Kuehn recently photographed the white fawn with its normal colored sibling. Despite its lack of camouflage, it has survived and grown bigger. You can see it is coloring up just a bit.

The fawn can often be seen by the 8th and 9th holes of The Sea Ranch Golf Links. It does look like a magical being.
