See if you agree. Hal Fogel deemed this Western Scrub Jay "The Admiral." I can see where Hal is coming from! This bird has a great deal of presence about him. And you've got to love those white eyebrows.

Jim Garlock recently put in a birdbath and it has already attracted several species of birds. Jim photographed this Western Scrub Jay during and just after its bath. These photos brought a smile to my face and I hope they do to yours as well.

Ron Blubaugh photographed a Gray Fox lounging on a bench with a Western Scrub Jay perched nearby. Perhaps the Fox was full or just lazing the day away on the Mendonoma Coast!
