There is a beautiful waterfall at Stengel Beach, which you can reach using the public access trail on The Sea Ranch. Allen Vinson recently photographed it.

Rozann Grunig took this sunset photo from her home at The Sea Ranch, and it sure looks like a beautiful golden fan. The colors of the sky and the ocean are amazing too.

Many coast residents got to see this event. Phil Wendt got this great photo at Black Point Beach off The Sea Ranch of Cumulus radiatus, or Cloud Sheets. This beautiful cloud show occurred on September 30th.

“ Parallel lines of clouds form along the direction of the wind, and appear to converge toward the horizon due to the effects of perspective.”

A white fawn was born this year on The Sea Ranch. It's not an albino, or leucistic. It is considered a tow-head who will eventually color up. Steve Coffee-Smith recently photographed the fawn with its mother.

Version 2The fawn has really grown! And you can she he/she is acquiring a little color, especially on the face.

Tripod lost one of his back hoofs several years ago. We don't know how he lost it, but we were concerned, because it's a disability for an animal when it can't run from danger at full speed. So far, Tripod has thrived by living lightly on the land at The Sea Ranch. Here's a recent photo of him, taken by Rick Hansen. The second photo, taken by Sandy Hughes last year, shows the missing hoof a little better.
