Sandy and Allen Vinson have a remote camera at their Sea Ranch home. It got several photos of a beautiful fogbow for us to enjoy. Sandy wrote, “Here are photos I took via our WYZE camera. It shows the date and time."
We don't see these too often, so it's a treat to see! Fogbows are also called white rainbows.

John and Janice Batchelder spotted whales off of The Sea Ranch. John wrote, “On Thursday afternoon Janice noticed all the humpback whales working their way north. They were lots of them, and that’s something we haven’t seen for a while. As I tried to capture a few pictures she pointed out that I was missing all the breaching whales, which for a while, were everywhere I wasn’t shooting. I did finally get a few shots and I have attached one for your use showing two humpback whales breaching simultaneously. It is evidence of all the activity we were able to enjoy.”
What a great photo! Humpbacks were seen today north of Gualala.

Roxanne Holmes spotted this handsome Dungeness Crab on a beach at low tide at The Sea Ranch.
I wonder if this crab was smiling at Roxanne!

It's sunny and breezy on the Coast this afternoon!
Bill Oxford noticed a low fog approaching the part of The Sea Ranch where he lives. The sunbeams mixed with fog created these lovely photos.

Today the dawn brought...rain! Not a lot, but it's definitely rain, about a tenth of an inch.
Eric Zetterholm and Amy Ruegg were charmed by this baby Brush Rabbit near their home on The Sea Ranch. The little fellow or gal was hanging out with a pair of California Quail. In the first photo, the bunny is with the male quail.

Eric calls this Brush Rabbit his "morning Bun." It doesn't get much cuter than this!

It's HOT here on the Mendonoma Coast today, way too hot! 94 degrees this afternoon here in Anchor Bay. It's cooler, of course, on the ocean bluffs and beaches. A friend told me it was 72 degrees at Bowling Ball Beach this afternoon.
