Today fog moved in, blanketing the Coast with moist, cool air. After the warm holiday weekend, the moisture is very welcome.

With the warm, spring-like weather we've been having, with occasional clouds moving through, the sunsets have been amazing. Last night's sunset just kept getting better and better. Here it is at its peak, taken from our front deck.
This sunset was the gift that kept on giving!
Even though we have had no rain for two weeks, there have been clouds that drifted up from the south. Yesterday morning, Rick and I were headed down the coast early and the sunrise reflected in the clouds was amazing.
Sunsets have been beautiful too, and it seems like no two sunsets are quite the same. Just like snowflakes! Paul Brewer got this beautiful photo recently. You can see there was a low tide.
And Allen Vinson photographed a spectacular sunset too.

And here is the sunset the night before, taken from the Gualala Bluff Trail with the sunset reflected in the Gualala River. 
The Gualala Bluff Trail is a perfect place to watch the sunset. There are two public access points. The first is just to the south of the Breakers Inn and the second is the driveway/entrance to the Surf Motel. Thanks to Paul for allowing me to share these visions of loveliness. October sunsets on the Mendonoma Coast are to be savored. Paul Brewer photographed last night's magnificent sunset.
