I looked out the window and gasped when I saw this sight the evening of January 22nd.

So beautiful! I took these photos from our deck in Anchor Bay. A few minutes later all was dark, and the sound of rain was heard on our roof.

A hurricane off of Hawaii swept the fog away here on the Mendonoma coast. It also sent us some tropical clouds, giving us this spectacular sunset last night.

Beautiful dark clouds with rain showers in them mixed in with brilliant sunshine. That means we will have a rainbow day. I took these photos from our front deck in Anchor Bay.

The rain has moved out and there is sunny weather in our immediate future. This is a perfect time to visit the Mendonoma Coast!

If you are thinking of a visit to the Mendonoma Coast, now would be a great time. Big surf, sunny days and warming temps - life is good.
