Ken Hofer photographed the moon painting a path across the ocean.

And Jon Loveless photographed this beautiful sight from his home on The Sea Ranch.

Thanks to Ken and Jon for allowing me to share their photos with you here.

Our beautiful coast has been shrouded in heavy smoke from the terrible fires in Butte County. Today has been very tough, especially those with respiratory issues. Here's a photo I took yesterday late afternoon at the Point Arena Lighthouse of the smoke pouring westward.

We have hopes that an onshore breeze will appear later today. Pray for rain for all who are impacted by wildfires.

Salmon is beginning to be caught off the Mendonoma Coast. Yes, the fish are getting closer in. Ken "Buzz" Hofer went fishing out of Fort Bragg and found these beauties about one mile out.

That's a happy smile on Buzz's face. Thanks to Buzz and his wife, Carol, for allowing me to share their photo with you here.

Ken Hofer enjoys surfing up Point Arena way. There are several nice surfing spots on the coast. Here's a photo of Ken and his surfboard, with Ken's wife, Carol, very much enjoying the sunny day.

Thanks to the Hofers for allowing me to share their photo with you here.
