Ken Browning recently led a geology hike at Gualala Point Regional Park. He showed us a small earthquake fault at the south end of the beach.

The fault is below the fence and wind-blown trees.

 Close by are these wonderful moon rocks. These formations are also at Salt Point State Park. Harmony Susalla and her friend, Fred Adler, were hiking by the Gualala Point Regional Park campground. The small but exquisite campground is framed by the Gualala River. Harmony took a beautiful photo that shows the wonderful melange of colors in February.
