This little green frog, recently transformed, was spotted by Debbie Trujillo.

You can see how very small it is perched on Debbie's hand. Here is a close-up of the frog in some greenery.

While these treefrogs are small, they have big voices, especially in mating season.

Thanks to Debbie for allowing me to share her photos with you here. While fog is over the Pacific Ocean, it is toasty warm at our place in Anchor Bay today.

Richard Kuehn noticed the little green frog posing on a Calla Lily. It's a Sierran Treefrog, also called a Chorus Treefrog.

They have the ability to change their color to match certain environments. They seem to enjoy being close to hot tubs. Here's a photo by Rich of one changing to match the wood.

I love these little frogs. At the first hint of moisture they begin to vocalize.
