Grace O'Malley noticed this young Red-tailed Hawk perched on a tattered "No Trespassing" sign. Looks like an enforcer was in town!

Another sunny, breezy day here on the Mendonoma coast. It actually feels more like Spring than Autumn. Come on, rain, come on down from the north!

There was a nest of Red-tailed Hawks near The Sea Ranch. The chicks recently fledged. Craig Tooley photographed this fledgling soaring through the sky.

Looks like his/her flying lessons are going very well!

Linda Bostwick and Mel Smith noticed this juvenile Red-tailed Hawk perusing their vegetable garden in Point Arena. The hawk is welcome to any tasty gophers it finds in there!
