An rare and endangered California Red-legged frog was found alongside the Gualala River.

These reddish frogs are on the endangered species list. Roberta Chan spotted one at the campground at Gualala Point Regional Park on July 30th. The campground is near the banks of the Gualala River.

    Please be sure that the people who filed the lawsuit on the Dogwood plan are aware of this frog. Is it mentioned in the TPH? It should be.

      Oh yes, they know. This sighting will be one of the reasons we hope the judge will grant a temporary restraining order against logging in the floodplain of the Gualala River.
